WhatsApp templates live on Outbound, then Templates. The list shows each template with its Name, Language, Status, and Body, and the Create button opens the Create template dialog.

The panel titled Template preview beside the dialog renders the message as WhatsApp shows it, with your sample values filled in.

Create, edit, delete

  • Create sends the template to Meta and stores it with the status In review. A WhatsApp connection with a business account id is required. Without one the submission fails.
  • Edit resubmits the template. Meta reviews it again, and the status returns to In review. You cannot change the name or the language, and you cannot edit a template with an image, video, or document header.
  • Delete removes the template from Meta by name and from Kylo. A template that a campaign uses cannot be deleted. Kylo shows the message “A campaign uses this template” and tells you to delete the campaign first.
