Buttons sit under the message. In the dialog, select Add button, then fill the row. An empty template shows “No buttons”.

Limits

Meta allows labels up to 25 characters and a copy code example up to 20 characters, so Kylo’s 20 character label limit is stricter. See Meta: template components.

The quick reply limit at send time

The dialog accepts up to 10 buttons of any mix, and Meta documents up to 10 quick replies. Kylo’s send step is stricter: it refuses to send a template that has more than 3 quick reply buttons and fails the send with too_many_buttons. If a template needs more than 3 quick replies, replace some with call-to-action buttons or split it into two templates.
A template with more than 3 quick replies can be approved by Meta and still never send from Kylo. Keep quick replies to 3 or fewer.

Dynamic URL buttons

A Visit website URL that ends in a variable such as {{1}} takes a value at send time. Kylo passes that value from the agent’s send call, so the instructions must say what to put there. A fixed URL, a phone button, and a quick reply need nothing at send time.
