What General is for
General says who the agent is, what it does, in what order, and when to use each tool. Write it as a short brief for a new colleague. A new agent starts from its template: the seeded text carries a working shape you can edit, and a banner says “Pre-filled from the Lead Qualifier template.” for a Lead Qualifier agent. Editing the text clears that link.Tokens and mentions
Type@ in General to open the mention list. Two kinds of entries exist.
Everything else is plain text. Write company names, addresses, and Zoho field API names such as
First_Name as normal words, without @. The Guardrails section does not offer the mention list.
Labelled blocks
Text in square brackets on its own, such as[Role], shows in bold in the editor. It is a convention for organizing the brief, and the seeded templates use it:
Worked example: a lead qualifier
This is the shape of the seeded Lead Qualifier text, shortened. ReplaceADVISOR_EMAIL and TEMPLATE_NAME with real values before you rely on it.
empty_slot instead of sending a wrong name.
Instructions for one channel
In the Playground, the switch Sync with global instructions is on by default, so every channel uses General. Turn it off for a channel to give it its own text, up to 20,000 characters.Saving
A bar asks “You have unsaved changes. Do you wish to save them?” with Discard and Save changes. Saved text is used from the next turn.Guardrails
