The Header is the optional first line or media of a template. Pick one type in the Header field of the dialog.

Header types

For Image, Video, and Document the dialog shows File with the name or “No file chosen” and a Choose file button. The file picker filters to the accepted type. A header file is required for these types, and the dialog reports “Header file is required.” until you choose one.

Text header rules

Meta’s rule is the same: header text supports one parameter, and a header with a parameter needs an example value. See Meta: template components.

What happens to a media file

When you select Create, Kylo uploads the file to storage, then uploads it to Meta through Meta’s resumable upload to get an asset handle, and submits the template with that handle. Meta reviews the sample media as part of template review. See Meta: template fundamentals. If the upload fails, Kylo shows “The header file could not be uploaded.” with Meta’s reason.
You cannot edit a template that has an image, video, or document header. To change the file, create a new template with a new name.
