Before you start
- A Bright Call account with a widget.
- The widget key and the widget API key of that widget. Do not use the account API key. The dialog says so twice.
1
Open the Bright Call card
Open your agent, select Integrations, and select Connect on the Bright Call card. The dialog is titled Add Bright Call widget.
2
Fill in the widget
Enter Widget name (for example
sales-coordinator), Widget key, and Widget API key, then select Save widget. All three are required: “Widget name is required.”, “Widget key is required.”, and “Widget API key is required.” Kylo checks the keys against Bright Call before it saves. If that fails you see “Could not connect to Bright Call.” Keys are encrypted at rest. The name is how agent tools address the widget: widget=sales-coordinator.3
Paste the webhook URL into Bright Call
After a successful save, the Bright Call webhook URL dialog shows a URL for this widget. Select Copy webhook URL, and in Bright Call go to Dashboard, Speed To Lead, Widgets, your widget, Integrations. Paste the URL into API URL and save. Turn on POST JSON format, Send webhook before call, and Post json new format (beta). Then return to Kylo and select Finish setup. Kylo sends no test call. Select Finish later to stop here and come back from Manage.
These tools are off by default. Switch them on under Build, then Tools, and tell the agent when to call in your instructions, for example “When a qualified lead asks to speak now, use
@brightcall.connect with widget sales-coordinator.” Call outcomes come back through the webhook, so status reads stay current.
Manage widgets
Select Manage on the card to open Manage Bright Call. The table lists each widget with Name, Webhook (Configured or Not configured), API key, and Added. The actions menu offers Copy webhook URL, Webhook URL, Reset webhook (resets the webhook verification), Reconnect keys, and Delete widget. Add widget adds another. The header shows Connected or Not connected.Agent tools
