The WhatsApp page is where you inspect and change an existing connection. Open Channels and select Manage on the WhatsApp card.

Before you start

The Connection tab

The page header has two tabs, Connection and Templates. Each row of the Connection table is described in Verify the connection. Two buttons sit above the table:
  • Manage opens Meta’s WhatsApp Manager message templates page in a new tab.
  • Disconnect removes the connection.
When there is no connection, this tab shows Disconnected with “Connect WhatsApp from Channels.”

The Templates tab

Templates lists the agent’s WhatsApp templates with the columns Name, Language, Status, and Body. The status filter offers Active, In review, and Rejected, and Search templates filters by text. Refresh pulls Meta’s current list, and Create opens a short form for a Utility template with a name and a body. Row actions are View, Edit, and Delete. Edit is not offered on an Active template. Delete is blocked when a campaign uses the template, and the dialog says which campaign to remove it from first. A template that Meta has approved cannot be edited here, because Meta controls approved content. For the full template dialog with media headers, buttons, and variables, use Outbound, then Templates. See WhatsApp templates.

Disconnect

Select Disconnect on the Connection tab. Kylo deletes the connection immediately. A confirmation toast reads “WhatsApp disconnected”. The Connection tab then shows Disconnected, and the WhatsApp card on Channels returns to Connect. Disconnect does not revoke anything in Meta. The phone number stays registered, and the token stays valid until it expires or you revoke it in Meta. Disconnecting stops Kylo from sending or receiving on that number.
Campaigns and triggers that depend on WhatsApp cannot send while the connection is missing.
You can also disconnect from the Playground Connection tab. There, Manage, then Disconnect, asks “Disconnect WhatsApp?” before it removes the line.

Reconnect

Reconnect from Channels: select Connect on the WhatsApp card and run either method again. Connecting for an agent that already had a connection updates it in place, and the templates and conversation history stay attached to the agent.
