Tags label a lead in Zoho. Kylo’s Tags tab works against the live Zoho API, so every tag you see is a real tag in your CRM, and every create or remove changes it. See Create Zoho tags for the steps.

The Tags tab

An empty list shows No tags and “Create a tag for Leads.” A tag list that fails to load shows “Couldn’t load tags” and “The tag list could not be fetched. Try again.”

Tag rules

Kylo validates these before it calls Zoho: The 13 colors are #F17574, #F48435, #E7A826, #A8C026, #63C57E, #1DB9B4, #57B1FD, #879BFC, #D297EE, #FD87BD, #969696, #658BA8, and #B88562.

How a tag gates a send

The Update lead with tag automation fires on create or edit with a phone value. When the event arrives, Kylo fetches the lead, reads its tags, and sends only if the tag you picked in the trigger’s Lead tag field is on the lead. The trigger’s dialog explains it: “The trigger sends only to leads that carry this tag in Zoho.” A lead without the tag is skipped, and the skip reason is in Logs.

Edition limits

When your Zoho edition has no tags, the tab shows Not in your Zoho plan and “Your Zoho plan doesn’t include tags. Upgrade Zoho CRM to use them.” Zoho references: Create tags, Get tag list, Delete tags.
