Connecting Zoho lets the agent read and write leads, contacts, deals, and notes, and lets Kylo install the automations that start outbound sends. The connection is per agent and uses OAuth, so Kylo never sees your Zoho password.

Before you start

  • A Zoho CRM org, and a Zoho user who can approve the access and who has the rights to create workflow rules and webhooks in that org. Automations and tags also depend on your Zoho edition. See Zoho tags and Zoho automations.
  • The Zoho data centre your org lives in. It is the part of the address you use to sign in to Zoho, for example zoho.eu for Europe. Zoho keeps each data centre separate, so a wrong choice cannot sign you in. See Zoho multi data centre support.
  • An approved agent. The Integrations page is per agent.
1

Open the Zoho CRM card

Open your agent and select Integrations. Select Connect on the Zoho CRM card. The card is labelled “Connect Zoho CRM so your AI agent can sync leads, update deals, and surface customer context.”
2

Choose the data centre

In Connect Zoho CRM, open Data centre and pick the region of your org: United States, Europe, India, Australia, Japan, Canada, or Saudi Arabia. The default is United States.
3

Review the CRM scopes

CRM scopes starts with Kylo’s 20 default scopes as chips. Five are required and locked: leads read, create, and update, plus field and module metadata read. You can add more scopes from the list (Modules, Settings, and Search groups) or remove optional ones. The hint reads “Kylo pre-selects what it needs. Required scopes stay on; widen or narrow the rest before connecting.” The full list and what each scope enables is on Zoho scopes.Keep the defaults unless your security team limits access. Removing a default scope disables the feature that needs it, and Kylo reports it later as a missing scope.
4

Select Connect and approve in Zoho

Select Connect. Your browser goes to Zoho’s consent screen for the data centre you chose. Sign in if asked, review the list, and accept. Zoho sends you back to Kylo’s Integrations page, where a dialog reads Zoho CRM connected.Kylo asks Zoho for offline access, so it holds a refresh token and keeps the connection alive without a new sign-in.
5

Open the Zoho page and check the connection

On the Zoho CRM card select Manage. The Connection tab shows Organisation, Data centre, and Status. If Zoho granted fewer scopes than Kylo requested, a Missing scopes warning lists them.
Your agent is connected to Zoho. The Zoho tool group appears on the agent’s Tools page and in the Playground Actions tab.

Reconnect when a scope is missing

If you removed scopes at consent, or Zoho granted fewer than requested, the Connection tab shows a Missing scopes warning such as “Zoho did not grant 2 requested scopes”. The connection still reads Connected, and only the features that need the missing scopes fail. To fix it, select Disconnect on the Connection tab, then connect again and keep the scopes the warning names. See Zoho missing scopes.
Disconnect removes the Kylo workflow rules and webhook actions from your Zoho org before it deletes the connection, so installed triggers stop firing. Reinstall them after you reconnect.

Next: install automations

Install the Zoho workflow rules that start outbound sends.
